According to recent news, the Kwong Tak Lung Sauce Factory in Kwu Tung is set to be demolished. The cat in my artwork carries the same earthy tones I discovered through online research. It's been getting harder and harder to keep the factory running, and having a local sauce factory like this in Hong Kong is becoming part of history — a fading piece of our cultural landscape.
